BOSTON-AREA Co-sponsoring RACE AND HOUSING CHOICE IN METROPOLITAN AMERICA March 1 with HousingGSD.

PAKISTAN Local Call for Housing Ideas was extended by national AFH. Collaborating with UNHabitat in Pakistan, National AfH, Arup, and AIGA, an earthquake resistant housing manual is being developed based on the numerous entries received.

Niveen Sayeed visited Pakistan and has reviewed entries with survivors, architects, engineers and other aid agencies. While there, AFHB will identify sites where some of these entries might be built. Check Niveen's Blog!

Had Dinner with Cameron Sinclair on November 18 and discussed collaborations with larger AFH and fundraising opportunities for AFHB.

Lora Kim will be attending Arkansas Summit (December 10-11) to discuss, assess and develop solutions for Gulf States hit by Hurricane Katrina. Conference mentioned in Local Paper.
